Whew! This has been one fun weekend! We finally got around to celebrating the January through August birthdays with a mani-pedi party at a fab salon. We are DEFINTELY doing this again real soon! The girl time was great. The service was awesome. The refreshments were on pointe. We topped it all off with Lauryn Hill Radio on Pandora.
Ladies make sure you have some great girlfriends in your life to celebrate and support you. We need each other to help keep our lights shining bright like diamonds.

Today is Briana’s 20th birthday! I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since her birth made me a mother. As I reflect on the deep meaning her life has brought to mine, I’m extremely grateful for the gift of being her mother.
Briana is blossoming into a wonderful woman. She has such an old soul and at times it is hard to believe she is only 20. She has a great love for her family. The circle of friends that she has surrounded herself with lets me know that she has demonstrated great love and acceptance in her daily interactions. I’m so excited for her future because she has dedicated herself to creating a life of joy and true fulfillment.
I’m very proud of the woman she is becoming and I enjoy supporting her in pursuing her many talents. I’m especially looking forward to sharing some of her art with the world.
